Relaxing Moves

Embodied Relaxation

Taking a minute to focus on relaxing moves is a great way to take a step back, re-center, and re-focus. Often, we tell students to relax without providing them with a physical way to practice relaxation. Embodiment can help us recognize feelings in our bodies, causing us to understand them more deeply. By embodying relaxation we can start to recognize the feeling of being relaxed, and learn how to use relaxing moves in the future.

This resource offers a guided routine that students can follow on relaxing moves. Students can practice this exercise anywhere, and can do them standing, sitting, or lying down. Enter your information below to download this resource on relaxing moves. Available in English and Spanish.
