For many families across the country, learning and working from home has now been a reality for a month or more. Your family may have settled into a new routine or you may still be struggling to create a new sense of “normalcy” in a completely abnormal situation. Perhaps working and learning from home felt like a nice change of pace at first, but now it feels difficult to maintain.
In this resource, we outline 11 tips to make learning and working from home successful and sustainable in the long term. For each tip, we’re suggesting an activity or exercise. These exercises could be completed as families at home, as a part of a class assignment or individually by students.
All you need is some paper and something to write with for each exercise. Revisit these exercises when working and learning from home feels tough to make sure you’re maintaining your commitments to yourself, your family and your friends.
