#SELChat: Self Care
Thursday, April 30
Self care is always critical, but it can be especially difficult during these times when we need it the most. As days are filled with ranging emotions and caretaking shifts with more family at home, it can feel impossible to find the time to take care of yourself. But you can’t pour from an empty cup, so if you are caring for others – either your many students, your own family, or both – self care needs to be a part of your routine.
Luckily, there are small, meaningful ways that you can build self care into your everyday life during this time. Join us for a Twitter chat on April 30 as we cohost #SELChat with our Founder & CEO @Sara_LaHayne leading the conversation. We’ll connect virtually to discuss how SEL supports self care, share simple ideas and tips for taking care of yourself, and discuss ways that administrators can support teacher self care.
When: Thursday, April 30 at 9pm EST
Where: Twitter! Use #SELChat to find the conversation. Follow @sara_lahayne for the questions!
How to Participate: We’ll be using the Q/A format for this 1 hour chat. After we post a question, (for example, Q1), reply with your answer (for example, A1: I think that….) Simply share your ideas and include #SELChat to join!
