About The Role

As a member of Move This World’s Sales team, you’ll be responsible for leading and executing our growth plans to secure new clients at the district and individual school levels. The ideal candidate understands the rapidly changing K-12 landscape and has experience in K-12 educational sales. We are looking for someone with a competitive spirit who is a creative thinker and ready to help Move This World create a world where everyone belongs.

About You

You are a self-starting, entrepreneurial sales professional who understands schools, teachers, and students. You know and respect that teachers and students are facing new and unique challenges everyday and you want to help them overcome these obstacles. You’re detail-oriented and flexible, willing to do what it takes to help more schools across the country thrive. You develop relationships at all levels, informed by consistent messaging that leads to the attainment of revenue goals. You’re excited to accelerate growth and build the leading social, emotional, and mental wellness brand for students and teachers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively communicate key product features and benefits to prospective customers virtually and/ or in person. 
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the K-12 spectrum.
  • Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values in order to provide personalized assistance through the sales process.
  • Own and manage metrics and goals that help drive Move This World’s growth.
  • Cultivate pipeline. Develop your own pipeline of districts and schools.
  • Manage and track your pipeline using our CRM tools.
  • Close business. Drive revenue by studying and navigating the customer buying process, engaging internal and external key stakeholders, and ultimately securing a signed agreement.
  • Support the team in being the best first impression of Move This World throughout the in-person and demo process.
  • Identify and attend in-person conferences, events, and sponsorships to showcase and highlight the impact of Move This World’s resources
  • Be a champion of proactive mental health support and become an expert at articulating why this work is important.
  • Provide thought leadership to partners by connecting educators with effective practices in social and emotional skill development.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the VP of Sales.
Social Emotional Skill Development for Late Elementary

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to communicate Move This World’s vision and mission to school leaders and teachers.
  • High organization and time management skills.
  • 8+ years sales experience.
  • A highly creative individual who possesses self-confidence, flexibility, and positive energy, and who thrives working in a dynamic environment.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving skills, with creative ability to overcome challenges and problem solve.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
