Deep Dive Questions for Children and their Grown Ups
It’s always helpful to talk about important topics from each episode with your child. Here are some Deep Dive Questions to help children and their grown ups debrief after listening to this week’s episode.
- What sound did you make for your emotion? What does that sound mean to you?
- What did you think about hearing my sound?
- If you had to think of a movement to go with your sound and emotion, what would your movement be?
Here’s What We Practiced This Week
Deep Breathing: We can stop any time we need to practice deep breathing. We breathe in for a count of 4, and out for a count of 4 at least three times.
Sound It Out: Think about how you are feeling right now. What does that feeling sound like? Take a deep breath for 4 counts, then make that sound on your exhale!
