Move This World Announces Season 3 the Emotion Motion Podcast®️

New York, August 2, 2022 – Move This World announces the launch of season 3 of the award-winning Emotion Motion Podcast®️. The Emotion Motion Podcast®️ takes listeners on a journey through storytelling designed to engage children, their families, and their teachers in movement and creative expression. Episodes include opportunities to put your emotions in motion through play and movement while practicing skills like empathy, self-awareness, regulating emotions, mindfulness, and more.

Season 3 will be a season of change for Megan the Mermaid. She will find herself on new adventures and facing new experiences that children will find relatable, like a first trip to the dentist or taking up the responsibility of earning a shell-owance. Megan and her friends will also learn to resolve conflicts, such as an argument during a surfball game or dealing with the disappointment of not getting a part in a play.

Move This World is the leading provider of interactive social emotional learning (SEL) experiences. “Social emotional learning” is a phrase that has evolved to define a growing body of work critical to building resilient, happy, successful humans who can thrive under a real-world setting. According to the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning, all 50 states have adopted Pre-K SEL competencies. School districts like Metro Nashville Public Schools in TN, Charles County Public Schools in MD, and IDEA Schools across TX and LA are prioritizing this work not just for students, but for educators and families, too.

The Emotion Motion Podcast®️ has been featured in CNN, the Wall Street Journal, eSchool News, Parents.com, is a winner of The National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, and recipient of the Mom’s Choice Award. The Emotion Motion Podcast is included on The Kids’ Listening Club list of Healthy You recommended podcasts, curated by Common Sense Media for Apple Podcasts and ranks in the top 2% of global podcasts according to Listen Notes.

In its podcast review, Common Sense Media praises The Emotion Motion as “more than just about telling fun underwater stories. Although listeners will get swept up in Megan the Mermaid’s adventures, the show aims to talk children through situations such as losing a tooth or even a loved one,” and adds, “This show builds strong social-emotional learning skills for younger ages, but can also be a good reminder for adults listening with their little ones.” Common Sense Media named The Emotion Motion as a Common Sense Selection for family podcasts.
