In this exercise students practice gratitude. They will list things that they miss at the current moment. These might include things like friends and family or something they never expected to miss, like the morning bus ride to school. By acknowledging what we miss, we know we will be more grateful for it in the future. Then students will list things they have and are grateful for in the current moment.
Tip: This is an excellent exercise for all ages and a powerful journal prompts for adults as well! Younger students can draw!
