We’re excited to announce that Move This World was named a winner of two Tech & Learning Best of 2021 Awards of Excellence! Our programs won the Awards of Excellence for Primary (K-6) and Secondary (6-12).
“2021 was another challenging year for schools, so it was inspiring to see both educators and the industry continue to come up with new solutions to support teaching and learning,” says Tech & Learning Content Director Christine Weiser.
“Our judges were impressed with the creativity presented by our Best of 2021 nominees, many of whom found new and innovative ways to use technology to ensure students continue to get an equitable education in any learning environment.”
Move This World programs are evidence-based, developmentally appropriate for individual grade levels, and versatile for use in a classroom setting, at home, with individual students, and in small groups.
“If there’s ever been a moment to emphasize the relevance and urgency of social emotional skills, it’s today,” Move This World Founder & CEO Sara Potler LaHayne said. “To create healthy environments for us to learn, whether remote, in-person, hybrid, in a pandemic world or beyond, we all have to feel like we belong. This is especially true for kids—we must build healthy relationships with them, and social emotional skills help develop that sense of community and belonging for us all..”
