Director of Content Position at Move This World

At Move This World, we’re looking for a Director of Content to develop programs, content and products to strengthen mental, emotional and social wellbeing of students, families and their school communities through creative expression.

About the Role:

As a member of Move This World’s Creative Product team, you’ll be responsible for overseeing content development across Move This World’s Video and Audio Network.

You will work hand-in-hand with the Founder & CEO to oversee the creative process of ideation, curriculum development, and script writing. You will work with our production and post production team to ensure we deliver high quality content to kids, families and educators. You will lead the development of new trainings and facilitations, and you will support Move This World’s Program team to facilitate professional development experiences across public, charter and independent schools across the country.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Co-lead the development of new content across the Move This World Video Network, including ideation, curriculum mapping, and script development.
  • Work with curriculum consultants to ensure content is developmentally aligned PreK-12, trauma informed, and incorporates the latest research in mental health, creative arts therapy, and social emotional learning.
  • Co-lead the development of new content across the Move This World Audio Network, including ideation, curriculum mapping, and script development.
  • Oversee the post production of all creative content.
  • Advocate and communicate the needs of students, families, school leaders and teachers to the rest of the organization. Work with Move This World’s Program team to support implementation of programs and products.
  • Work with Move This World’s Program team to gather feedback on Move This World’s products in order to identify opportunities to improve the experience with Move This World’s products.
  • Assist in the ongoing development of professional development content.
  • Support the facilitation of professional development experiences.
  • Maintain an understanding of mental health in education, social emotional learning, emotional wellbeing, and creative arts therapy industries.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the Founder & CEO.

Social Emotional Skill Development for Late Elementary

Qualifications:

  • Experience creating and developing curricula and creative content.
  • MA or MS or higher credential in the mental health sector is preferred.
  • A highly creative individual who possesses self-confidence, flexibility, and positive energy, and who thrives working in a dynamic environment.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving skills, with creative ability to overcome challenges and problem solve.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and accountability.
