About The Role
This position has the unique opportunity to work alongside the Sales & Marketing teams to secure meetings with superintendents and district leaders across the country. It requires the ability to successfully cultivate a pipeline for new sales opportunities for Move This World within the PreK-12 education market. You will serve as the initial point of contact to inbound and outbound prospects and execute a winning sales strategy. This includes developing new prospect opportunities and expanding Move This World’s presence by leveraging the current customer base. The successful candidate will be able to use their high attention to detail to maintain our CRM and ensure follow up and outreach, clearly understand customers’ requirements and assist the Sales team in recommending a solution that will solve districts’ climate and culture needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the U.S. sales team to manage the complete sales process from prospect to close including the following:
- Manage heavy call and email volume daily.
- Create and send out daily sales campaigns.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets.
- Identify sales prospects and contact these as well as other accounts as assigned.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from sales team field activity.
- Track and organize all sales activity in Move This World’s CRM.
- Work with Regional Sales Directors on territory specific strategies to grow existing business or discover new opportunities.
- Immerse yourself in the education technology, social emotional skill development, and school wellness/wellbeing landscapes and product knowledge, and contribute to Move This World’s strategic growth.
- Other duties as assigned by the VP of Sales
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience selling with a proven track record of success. Experience in the education market is preferred.
- Ability to succeed within a high volume sales environment: prospecting and building pipelines.
- Consistently described as fast learning, organized and independent with a high attention to detail.
- Resourceful and diligent in maintaining CRM data.
- Competitive drive to beat targets, demonstrate a positive attitude and embody a strong work ethic.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
- Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule and attend conferences with occasional overnight travel.
- 4-year college degree (BA/BS) required.
